Position Overview
TLBC is hiring a part-time Social Skills BCBA to support our growing Social Skills Program. The Social Skills BCBA will work closely with our Center-Based Services Coordinator to provide a range of ABA assessment and clinical services for children in our Social Skills Group program. The Social Skills Group BCBA assists with initial and ongoing assessments, develops treatment plans, provides group training to caregivers, and supervises RBTs at our Silver Spring center. Responsibilities and Duties
The Social Skills Group BCBA is responsible for supporting the supervision of all Social Skills Group clients. Specific responsibilities include:

Administer, evaluate and supervise the implementation of the treatment plan

Weekly on-site supervision of Social Skills Groups and RBT Group Leaders on Saturdays
-
Ensure treatment integrity of social skills interventions and assess interobserver agreement (IOA)
-
Planning and implementation of monthly group caregiver trainings
-
Meet regularly with Center-Based Services Coordinator and notify them immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction
-
Conduct in-home and in-school observations as needed

Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner

Maintain billable caseload and documents billable hours according to The Language and Behavior Center policy and state and federal regulation

Qualifications & Skills

Hold a current professional license in Maryland
-
Hold a current professional BCBA certification for a minimum of 1 year
-
Clear criminal background check
-
CPR/First Aid Certification
-
Ability to work a 9am-5pm schedule on Saturdays

Experience implementing behavior analytic programming in a social skills setting

Works independently and takes initiative

Creative problem-solving skills

Enthusiastic about TLBC’s mission and the success of its clients

Strong organization and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with anti-ableist and child-led interventions
-
Experience collaborating with related service providers (e.g., SLPs, OTs, Mental Health counselors)​​
