Our Social Skills team is comprised of BCBAs and RBTs that are experts in play!
About Our Groups


Ray, RBT
Ray is a Registered Behavior Technician and started their career in ABA in 2022. Ray has been working with children professionally since 2017. Ray is currently pursuing a degree in music therapy with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ray has worked in both home and school settings and prefers a play-based approach to their work.
Outside of work, Ray enjoys solving rubix cubes and reading! Additionally, they like to spend time with friends and is an amateur photographer.

Lexi, BCBA
Lexi is TLBC's Center-Based Services Coordinator and has worked in a variety of settings including home, school, community, and center with ages ranging from 18 months to 18 years. She loves working with early learners to build language and communication, encourage play and increase independence. Additionally, Lexi enjoys teaching anyone and everyone about the field of ABA (parents, RBTs, and strangers alike).
During her free time, Lexi enjoys spending time with family and friends, snuggling up with her pup for a good movie, and trying new restaurants in the area.

Lea, RBT
Lea is an RBT at TLBC with over 12 years of experience in childcare and elementary education.
She takes a play centered approach to ABA, with a special importance on creating strong bonds to cultivate a trusting, respectful therapeutic relationship.

In her personal life, Lea is an artist and musician who enjoys spending time with her family and dog.

Kirsten, RBT
Kirsten is a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician that has worked with children since 2016 and began providing ABA therapy in 2022. She has worked with children of all ages in home, school, and group settings. Kirsten enjoys a child lead, play-based approach that keeps the child engaged. Her future plans are to return to school to become a BCBA.
In Kirsten’s free time she likes to garden and read books. Her most preferred activity is spending time with her cats and trying new restaurants.
​The Language and Behavior Center provides center-based social skills groups to support children across a variety of social domains. Groups are intentionally selected with children's age and skill-level taken into consideration to curate an ideal group for your child.

Current Group Offerings
Social Foundations
Laying the groundwork for positive social interactions
This early preschool group helps children build key foundational skills like communication, peer play, turn-taking, self-regulation, and following group routines. Through engaging activities and guided play, little ones will practice the building blocks of positive social interactions.
Conversations & Cooperation
Fostering meaningful conversations and teamwork
Designed for children in early and middle elementary school, this group helps participants develop skills like back-and-forth conversations, cooperative play, flexible thinking, and coping strategies. Through engaging activities and guided peer interactions, children will build confidence and strengthen their ability to connect and collaborate with others.
Social Language & Responsiveness
Building bridges through play and interaction
These groups focus on early and middle elementary children, emphasizing essential social skills like requesting to peers, parallel play, turn-taking, and navigating group dynamics. With activities tailored to developmental stages, children will enhance their ability to connect and engage with others.
Social Connections
Navigating friendships and pre-teen challenges.
This group is designed to support pre-teens in developing advanced social skills such as setting boundaries, managing emotions, resolving conflicts, and respecting differences. Through structured group activities and real-world practice, participants will strengthen their ability to build and maintain healthy relationships.
Note: All of our social skills groups are currently offered on Saturdays
