Evidence-based therapy

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an individualized therapy approach that promotes learning for children that need extra support.

ABA therapy can help with language development, social-emotional skills, play, and self-help skills. The Language and Behavior Center works with each family to develop individualized goals and strategies that supports each child's needs.

Individualized & Comprehensive

The Language and Behavior Center knows that children learn more when they're having fun. We take a play-based approach to our ABA sessions, with teaching embedded in everyday activities. We work with each family to ensure goals are meaningful to both the child and their family.

All ABA sessions are supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and run by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Our staff undergo rigorous training to ensure they stay up-to-date on best-practice strategies to support you and your child. We often consult with our in-house Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide a comprehensive therapy model.

While your RBT works with your child, your BCBA will provide ongoing caregiver training designed to provide you with the necessary skills and strategies to support your child. Our BCBAs will also collaborate with your child's support network, such as his or her teacher, occupational therapy, and other family members.
